USCG NAVSAC (Navigation Safety and Advisory Committee) member 2008-2011

Served as a member of the advisory committee which provides advice and recommendations to the Department of Homeland Security on matters relating the prevention of maritime collisions, ramming and groundings; including the Inland and International Rules of the Road, navigation regulations and equipment, routing measures, marine information, diving safety, and aids to navigation systems.
